Fascinating New Petites Color Fever Swatches!

I've got Color Fever! This just gets better and better as you scroll down ;) Here are a few of the Petites polish swatches for your enjoyment! These are all going on fantastic, drying fast, and very opaque- one coat with a bit of VNL or two coats tops!

Above is "Figi", a beautiful teal blue shimmer.4 Blings


This one is "Wild Plum" and it is just beautiful. Mom (Sylvia) thought she already had enough purples, so this was my major score :) It doesn't come out at all in the pictures, but trust me it is a keeper! 4.5 Blings


This is Black Diamond, which has magical holographic powers, as you'll see below. 5+ Blings!

This is Black Diamond (one coat) over Fiji! So this means BD makes any color a darker holographic! OMG! Must have!

Righteous Rite Aid Haul

Well hello after Easter sale! Buy one get one 1/2 off on all nail polish! These are Color Fever line by Petites and they look like a brand new line- can't find information on them anywhere. Has anyone heard of or tried these? The colors look unique and fabulous!

Colors are: Fiji, Periwinkle, Peach Blush, Creme Blue, Black Diamond, Wild Plum, and Fairy Pink.

Going Green

Sally Hansen X-Wear "Mint Sprint"


One, then two coats of NYX "Lime Sparkle"

I love these colors. "Mint Sprint" by itself is cool (4 blings- went on easy and very opaque- only 2 coats), but it was lacking something for me since my last mani was so crazy (orange neon plus sparkle). So I added a couple coats of the highly acclaimed (by Scrangie) "Lime Sparkle" and it looks fabulous! Lime Sparkle gets 5 blings for it's ability to transform "blah" into "voila".

Sinful - Pearl Harbor

I really did not want to take off my SH - Purple Pizzazz. It was wearing so nice, and I just Love the color! So I thought I would see what Pearl Harbor on top would look like. WoW! This just jumps out at you. Purple and teal glitter over Burple. This is just so cool. I highly recommend this combo. This is 2 coats of Pearl Harbor. 5 Blings

Feeling Blue

Well I've been feeling down today since I got a red gift I was hoping NOT to receive today. So I'm swatching blue instead :) Two coats of each.

Colors are as follows:

Pinkie- "Pacific Blue" by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

Ring- "Ocean View" by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

Middle- "Celestial" by Pure Ice

Pointer- "Teal Takeoff" by Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

So here's the breakdown:

Pinkie- "Pacific Blue" by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

The color is very different. Yes, that's good :) It was a bit thicker than I like (which is odd, because I can't stand thin polish), but covered smooth and could have even been left at just ONE coat! It had a medium dry time- faster than expected since it was thick. 4 Blings

Ring- "Ocean View" by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

I love this color! The pictures don't do it justice! A perfect ocean blue with just the right hint of green, FINALLY! With a husband who works in the cruise industry, a color like this is a must for me. It was a bit thin with medium opacity and a longer dry time, but sooooo worth it! 4.5 Blings

Middle- "Celestial" by Pure Ice

Very similar to "Ocean View" without the green undertones. I honestly didn't think this would hold up against the Sally Hansen's, but it had good medium opacity and thickness and it dried hard and fast! 4 Blings

Pointer- "Teal Takeoff" by Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

This was my FAVORITE. Nice rich deep color, great opacity, went on medium-thick (which I prefer- two coats is plenty), and dries rock hard, though a touch slower than "Celestial". 4.5 Blings

So I really liked all of these, but have to take them off since I didn't do a base coat, doh.

Update

Odd, I put on a clear top coat and it looks more blue. Maybe my lighting too but it's much more what I expected now.

WetnWild Caribbean Frost

This went on smooth and had a good medium opacity and although I used 3 coats, I could have gotten away with 2. I am a bit disappointed that there isn't more blue. 3.5 Blings
