Stunning Silvers!

Here are some stunning silvers to make you feel special! All of these are 3 coats, fairly sheer, and all except "Celeb City" were streaky.

Pointer - "Pedal to the Metal" by Sally Hansen Salon
I like this color, though I might franken it to have just a bit more lavender color. It had good but streaky application and average dry time. 3.5 Blings

Middle - "Risk Taker" by Pure Ice

This is awesome! It is very shiny with deep color that sucks you right in. Good, but again streaky application, moderate dry time, beautiful color! 4 Blings!

Ring - "Silver Mercedes" by Pure Ice
Similar application to "Risk Taker" but a light silver. I love the name- that's the whole reason I bought it :) Very nice and shiny. 3.5 Blings

Pinkie - "Celeb City" by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear
This one is the standout! It dried the fastest, and sparkles like crazy! It was sheer as expected, but not streaky. This solves my craving for shiny and sparkly at the same time :) 4.5 Blings

WOW! Purple explosion!

This is 2 coats of Pure Ice "No Means No" underneath 1 coat of Milani "Hi-Res".

"No Means No" was fantastic enough by itself- a purplish color with fuchsia shimmer. Then "Hi-Res" on top makes it look deep and holographic with a rainbow of colors in the sunlight. It is beyond awesome, and looks even better in real life! 5 Blings!

Pure Ice - First Time

This color is so classy! Super cool Patty's Day Polish! I should have used a ridge filler base coat as this shows every imperfection, next time. This is two coats of a metallic - frost cross. A gorgeous sage moss green. And Poshe' Top Coat. Love Love Love!!! 4.5 Blings

Feeling Blue

Well I've been feeling down today since I got a red gift I was hoping NOT to receive today. So I'm swatching blue instead :) Two coats of each.

Colors are as follows:

Pinkie- "Pacific Blue" by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

Ring- "Ocean View" by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

Middle- "Celestial" by Pure Ice

Pointer- "Teal Takeoff" by Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

So here's the breakdown:

Pinkie- "Pacific Blue" by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

The color is very different. Yes, that's good :) It was a bit thicker than I like (which is odd, because I can't stand thin polish), but covered smooth and could have even been left at just ONE coat! It had a medium dry time- faster than expected since it was thick. 4 Blings

Ring- "Ocean View" by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

I love this color! The pictures don't do it justice! A perfect ocean blue with just the right hint of green, FINALLY! With a husband who works in the cruise industry, a color like this is a must for me. It was a bit thin with medium opacity and a longer dry time, but sooooo worth it! 4.5 Blings

Middle- "Celestial" by Pure Ice

Very similar to "Ocean View" without the green undertones. I honestly didn't think this would hold up against the Sally Hansen's, but it had good medium opacity and thickness and it dried hard and fast! 4 Blings

Pointer- "Teal Takeoff" by Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

This was my FAVORITE. Nice rich deep color, great opacity, went on medium-thick (which I prefer- two coats is plenty), and dries rock hard, though a touch slower than "Celestial". 4.5 Blings

So I really liked all of these, but have to take them off since I didn't do a base coat, doh.
